Under the leadership of Ontiretse Mathews Senosi, Overlooked Group will not only thrive but will flourish. With a strong mining engineering background from the University of Witwatersrand, Senosi’s business prowess, intelligence, humility, and determination has ensured that Overlooked Group ascends to its rightful place in the market.
Kgosietsile Mafoko Chief Executive Officer Katlego Coal
Previously Chief Operations Officer for Katlego Coals, Kgosietsile now brings with him into his new portfolio as CEO of Katlego Coals 23 years of operational expertise and an MBA from University of Stellenbosch. He’s a seasoned leader in the mining sector, known for his exceptional interpersonal skills, leadership prowess, and commitment to health and safety leadership.
Luyanda Mngadi Group Chief Financial Officer
Luyanda Mngadi joined Overlooked Group as Chief Financial Officer in August 2021, bringing 14 years of experience from PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. (PwC). As a Chartered Accountant, she serviced mining industry clients and gained international experience in the UK and USA.

Our Geographical Footprint
Our production portfolio encompasses two coal mining clusters & beneficiation plants situated in the heart of Mpumalanga, the province of the rising sun. The coal mines consist of Katlego and Tswelopele mining operations nestled near the towns of Kriel, Bethal, and Hendrina. Our mines are strategically located to optimise production and logistics. With a strong presence in this coal-rich region, we are well-positioned to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in the mining sector.
